A 3-person delegation from China Huaneng Clean Energy Research Institute visited Zhejiang Guangtian for factory audit on Oct 10. The team inspected production lines and testing center for dry-type transformers, box substations and integrated energy storage converters. Guangtian’s GM presented the company’s new energy T&D technology, capacity and customized energy-saving solution advantages. The visit strengthened mutual understanding and paves the way for project delivery and joint development.

Going Global to DRC｜Guangtian Electric Builds 2.5MW/10MWh PV-Storage-Diesel Containerized Microgrid, Empowering Off-grid Power Supply Overseas
Guangtian Electric and a PCS-listed partner delivered a 2.5MW/10MWh PV-storage-diesel containerized microgrid in the DRC. Pre-integrated in 20-foot containers, the system combines PCS, an 11kV step-up transformer and distribution sets for multi-energy supply, supporting grid-connected and off-grid modes with VSG grid-forming technology. Compliant with IEC/EN standards and remotely maintainable, it solves Africa’s off-grid power shortage and boosts local energy infrastructure.

The MSVC magnetically controlled dynamic reactive power compensation complete sets at the 110kV substation of Hongliulin Coal Mine have been commissioned successfully. With 2 sets installed on 10kV busbars, the system integrates filter banks, MCR reactors and control units for continuous 1%-100% regulation, maintaining power factor above 0.95 and solving reactive power fluctuation and harmonic issues, ensuring safe and stable mine power supply.
