On the afternoon of December 10, a symposium on the investigation of housing provident fund by the District People's Congress was held. The relevant responsible persons of the District Public Security Bureau, the Construction Bureau, China AD Plastic Industry Group Co., Ltd., Taizhou Xinjayang Group Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Guangtian Transformer Co., Ltd. and other units and enterprises talked freely with the representatives and exchanged views on the establishment of housing provident fund system by non-public enterprises. Wang Qianjin, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the District People's Congress, attended the symposium. The housing provident fund system in Huangyan District has been established in some administrative and public institutions since 1994. So far, a total of 460 units in the district have established this system, benefiting 18489 people and accumulating a total of 0.813 billion billion yuan. However, by the end of 2007, only 60 non-public enterprises in Huangyan District had established housing provident funds for 1386 people, while there were 15436 non-public enterprises in the district. The system was seriously lagging behind and the establishment was low.

Wang Qianjin pointed out that the establishment of a housing provident fund system for non-public enterprises can create conditions for enterprises to establish a modern enterprise system, which is conducive to stabilizing the workforce, attracting and retaining talents, and promoting the healthy and sustainable development of enterprises. In recent years, Huangyan District has paid more and more attention to people's livelihood projects. Holding this symposium to introduce models and exchange experiences can play a role in publicizing the provident fund system. At the same time, the provident fund system will be implemented, expanding coverage, so that low barriers to entry, and gradually put in place.

At the symposium, the participants suggested that, on the one hand, the government should increase the publicity of the housing provident fund system to let everyone know that there is such a good policy; on the other hand, business owners should change their concepts and use this system to stabilize the workforce., So that it can play a role in solving the housing difficulties of employees and improving the living conditions of employees.
