In August 2010, in the bidding project of box transformer dry-type transformer for Harbin-Dalian line and Beijing-Shanghai passenger railway passenger dedicated line, Zhejiang Guangtian stood out among the 10 major production railway box transformer bidding units. All the projects won the bid, and the total number of box transformer units was 410.

The insulation performance of the new railway special transformer produced by Guangtian, Zhejiang Province has been greatly improved on the original basis, and four related patents have been applied for. Its structure is simple, the encapsulation layer, iron core and primary and secondary coils are of strong integrity, and the encapsulation effect is good, which improves the electrical performance of the transformer and its adaptability to climate, as well as the moisture-proof, mildew-proof and salt fog-proof properties of the product. The performance indicators of its products meet and are better than the relevant industry standards of the Ministry of Railways.
