To further strengthen fire safety awareness for all employees and improve emergency response and collaborative combat capabilities, the Company’s Core Shop organized a full‑process live fire drill on April 24, involving all shop employees.

At 8:30 a.m., the drill officially began. A simulated fire alarm sounded, with the scenario set as a fire in the office area on the second floor. The evacuation guidance team responded immediately, instructing employees to follow standard escape procedures – covering their noses with hands, bending low, and moving quickly and orderly along the southern safety passage to the outdoor assembly point. The entire evacuation was efficient and well organized, taking only 1 minute and 30 seconds for all personnel to evacuate safely, with no one left behind or panicking.

After assembly, the on‑site commander promptly took a headcount and confirmed everyone was safe. The drill then moved to the fire extinguishing practice segment. Engineer Feng, a registered fire safety engineer from Yike Company, provided on‑site training. He explained the working principles and usage methods of dry powder and carbon dioxide fire extinguishers, emphasizing the standard “Pull‑Aim‑Squeeze‑Sweep” procedure. Following the instruction, employees practiced in pairs, accurately extinguishing simulated oil drum fires. The instructor guided each group, correcting improper movements to ensure each employee mastered the firefighting skills.

Next, the instructor explained key points for using fire hoses and hydrants and demonstrated the standard procedures for connecting hoses and opening valves. Participating employees quickly coordinated to complete hose laying, connection, and valve operation, and a water jet accurately extinguished the simulated fire point, demonstrating strong teamwork.

This fire drill and safety training activity served as a comprehensive test of the shop’s fire emergency plan. It also made employees deeply realize the importance of fire safety and effectively improved their emergency risk‑avoidance and self‑/mutual rescue capabilities. Going forward, the company will continue to conduct various safety drills on a regular basis, knitting a tight safety protection net to build a strong safety barrier for stable, high‑quality development.
