Good News｜MSVC Device at 110kV Substation of Hongliulin Coal Mine in Shaanxi Runs Stably

Recently, the magnetically controlled high-voltage dynamic reactive power compensation device supporting the 110kV substation project of Hongliulin Coal Mine in Shaanxi has been successfully put into operation, with equipment running in sound condition.

This project is equipped with two complete sets of MSVC-10-12900kvar (10000MCR+12900FC-2) magnetically controlled dynamic reactive power compensation devices, installed respectively on two sections of 10kV busbars of the substation. Each complete set comprises a shunt filter bank, magnetically controlled reactors and a control system. The total output capacity of the filter capacitors reaches 10000kVar, with 5th, 7th and high-pass filtering branches configured, supported by BKSMC-10000/10.5 oil-immersed magnetically controlled reactors. The devices support continuous stepless regulation across the full capacity range from 1% to 100%, maintaining the power factor at the assessment point at 0.95 or above steadily. They effectively solve the reactive power fluctuation and harmonic treatment problems of the mine power supply system, guaranteeing safe, stable and economical operation of the coal mine power supply system.
